Mid- Senior Graphic/brand Designer

 

We are looking for an experienced, creative, and communicative Mid-Senior Graphic/Brand designer with a proactive and hands-on mindset to join our growing design team in our Hong Kong Headquarters. You will be designing a various array of clients ranging from hospitality, retail, f&b, education, corporate, shared spaces, fashion, start-up, wellness, retail, lifestyle, and our company brands. 

The successful candidate will be both an independent problem solver, as well as a proven team player when it comes to getting the job done. He/she must be passionate and strategic about applying branding, colour, and typography across print and digital platforms. He/she will be responsible for designing and producing assets for all of our brand touchpoints offline and online with strong narratives. We’re looking for an individual who takes details and aesthetics seriously and is interested in taking on the most challenging and rewarding projects around the globe. You will be reporting to the Founder & Creative Director, working alongside other graphic designers and creatives.

Responsibilities:

- Discussing the design brief with the creative team and taking a proactive part in internal creative meetings from conceptual to final production stage

- Research and determine strategies to deliver clear messages to different target audiences, and develop brand concepts.

- Creating designs and production files for printed collaterals, illustrations, packaging, brochures, sales and marketing materials, on-site artworks, and signage.

- Work closely with our Creative Director and creative team; providing art direction to 3rd parties such as photographers, video production teams, and other vendors

- Proactive mindset and hands-on approach to projects and briefs

- Take on briefs independently/as a team.

- Mentor junior staff on work standards, ethics, and provide leadership guidance

- Provide and lead in-house social media direction and design relevant marketing assets.

- Work with management team on recruitment plans, brand positioning, and growth strategies.

Requirements:

- Degree holder or above in graphic design or related majors from a recognized international school

- 4-8 years experience in F&B/Hospitality/Retail/Luxury projects, preferably from an agency/studio background

- Extremely detailed with a creative flair and a strong eye for design.

- Entrepreneurial mindset and leadership qualities

- Full proficiency in the Adobe CC suite.

- Fully fluent in English, Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus

- Highly motivated and proactive, passionate about design, and a good team player

- Able to multi-task under tight deadlines.

- Applicants without a portfolio will not be considered.

- Candidates with prior management experience is a plus.

- Immediate availability will be prioritised.
